It's the last work day before classes start again. I started re-reading The Last Unicorn last night, and within minutes I was struck by what a good, good book it is. Let's celebrate with some good music: "Waltz for the Moon" from Final Fantasy VIII and "Mother of the Sea" from Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea. Be sure to tell me what you think, guys.

Saw it today. Good movie. Nice pacing, sympathetic protagonist, complex ecological developments. Not to mention the voices of Patrick Stewart, Uma Thurman, Edward James Olmos, and Shia LaBeouf in the English dub. Firefly: The Complete Series has arrived, along with the soundtracks for Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away. I hope Firefly lives up to expectations. I'm going to wait to see it until there's a discount to purchase the movie Serenity, though. Then I can view it all in one run.
